90-Day Provisional Period
All new Freedom Mailbox® accounts are subject to an initial 90-day provisional review period, during which mail activity is monitored for compliance and risk assessment. Freedom Mailbox® reserves the right to extend the provisional status beyond 90 days based on account activity, risk indicators, verification status, or ongoing compliance review.Provisional status may remain in effect until Freedom Mailbox® determines, in its sole discretion, that an account demonstrates consistent, legitimate, and compliant mail usage.
If an account receives little to no mail other than credit cards or other financially or personally sensitive items, Freedom Mailbox® may temporarily restrict scanning, opening, or forwarding requests until additional verification is completed.
If mail activity reasonably indicates potential fraud, identity misuse, or unlawful activity, Freedom Mailbox® may restrict services and cooperate with financial institutions or law enforcement as required by law.
Restrictions
- Requests to scan the back of a credit card will not be honored during the provisional period.
- Freedom Mailbox® does not verify, activate, or assume responsibility for financial instruments delivered to a mailbox.
Best Practices
- Credit cards and financial mail should be forwarded unopened to the customer.
- If you anticipate receiving multiple financial or personally sensitive items within a short period, notify us in advance.
- Accounts with longer tenure and consistent, legitimate mail activity are less likely to trigger review or restrictions.
Use of Freedom Mailbox® services constitutes acceptance of this policy. Service fees related to the handling or restriction of financial mail are non-refundable once services are performed.
